This is my character Mornai from my story. He's another one of the main characters. He's Rhianna's elder brother and Emperor Calthonan's cousin on his mother's side. He's about nineteen years old, while Rhianna is sixteen. He befriends my main charcater, Daethryn, later in the story. (There is no romantic relationship between the two. ) I was thinking about making his name mean something like "Son of the Morning" or "Son of the Dawn" Something like that.

Similar to the use of flowers that represented Rhianna's personality in her picture, I used various species of trees to represent Mornai's. Besides, he's such a forest-lover anyway. If you can't recognize the trees, blame it on my poor watercoloring skills.

Oak - Strength
Holly Tree - Protection; overcoming anger; spiritual warrior
Aspen Tree - Determination; overcoming fears and doubts

As an aside...

Of all my characters, he's had his name the longest. I made it up one day in 6th grade when I had to make an original character. He and Istana were the siblings of Saryn (the character I made up) who perished in a shipwreak. Well, when I wrote what would be the bare beginnings of my current story, I resurrected him and used his name for one of my charcaters. (For the curious, the story I'm refering to is one I made in 7th grade called A Meeting at the Black Griffin Inn, it's a story I later edited a lot so it's very different from the original version, but still so embarrassingly bad that I refuse to put it up here. ) His personality and character has changed very little since then, so his name suits him now as well as it did then. The only things that have really changed in regards to him is his family and background story. (Before he was a disinherited, renegade lord seeking revenge for the murder of his parents).

He's a bit of a nicer, less rebellious guy now.
